About Rags Remembered
Our Mission
The purpose of Frank Ragnow’s Rags Remembered Foundation is to foster a love of the outdoors in children and their families by sharing the power of the outdoors to heal and bond families together.

Our Why
The Ragnow family shares a strong, tight-knit bond. During Frank's time at Arkansas, his father tragically passed away from a sudden heart attack. Having experienced loss firsthand, the Ragnows understand that everyone processes grief in their own way. This understanding drives the mission of their foundation, which provides a supportive outlet for children and families to cope with their grief through outdoor activities. Grief is an inevitable part of life, and no one truly knows how they’ll respond to it until they face it themselves.
For Frank and his father, the outdoors were a shared passion—whether fishing or hunting—and those moments together created a lasting connection. By continuing these activities with his family and others who are grieving, Frank keeps that bond alive. His foundation offers grieving families a chance to heal and experience the transformative power of the outdoors.
